This is where a referral is useful.<\/p>\n\t<div id=\"cbox-vODZZySnaq10cn4g\"><\/div>\n\t<p>No client should ever feel that they are beyond help so if a client asks a counsellor for help with debt, then a referral is made to the appropriate professional who can offer help.<\/p>\n<p>Counsellors work with what is described as the <strong>&#8216;worried well&#8217;<\/strong> individuals who have problems they want to resolve but who may have\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/counsellingtutor.com\/models-of-mental-health\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mental health issues<\/a> does not need medical intervention<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Occasionally clients may present with severe mental health issues such as being delusional or hearing voices.
